2027 Internship- Hardware Engineer (FPGA)

What you will do

• Design FPGA and ASIC solutions for ultra-low-latency market-making infrastructure.
• Work across the hardware design lifecycle, including architecture and RTL implementation.
• Develop simulation and verification environments and bring designs up on live hardware.
• Solve real engineering problems with guidance from senior mentors.
• Collaborate with experienced traders, quants, developers, and hardware engineers.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience with hardware description languages, including SystemVerilog or Verilog.
• Comfort with Python, C++, or a similar programming language.
• Basic understanding of network protocols.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Availability for the 10-week onsite program in Austin from June 7 to August 13, 2027, with flexibility if needed.
