FPGA Engineer

What you will do

• Partner with Quantitative Researchers and Strategy Developers to translate trading challenges and requirements into hardware designs.
• Architect FPGA solutions, including hardware selection and key functional blocks, to accelerate infrastructure.
• Implement and deploy solutions from the hardware board through the API and into production.
• Collaborate with trading teams and Strategy Developers to iterate on designs and improve hardware performance.
• Own hardware solutions across architecture, design, simulation, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in FPGA or ASIC high-level architecture, design, and development.
• Professional experience with VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline, or a foreign equivalent.
• Ability to work on performance-intensive hardware solutions for trading infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-speed interfaces such as Ethernet and PCIe.
• Experience with C#, C, or Java.
• Prior experience in trading or finance.
