Technical Account Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Atlanta, GA; hybrid work with two days per week in the office

Salary: $124,000–$161,000 per year, depending on location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.

What you will do

• Guide customers through deployment, configuration, integration, and network-security best practices.
• Resolve advanced technical support issues involving networking and security environments.
• Build customer relationships, understand goals, and improve product adoption.
• Deliver product training and create technical guides, runbooks, and videos.
• Relay customer feedback, feature requests, and bug reports to product and engineering teams.
• Monitor account usage and health signals to identify risks and expansion opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Customer Success, Support, Pre-Sales, or Solutions Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, Zero Trust, and enterprise architectures.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls or proxies such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Zscaler, Netskope, or Fortinet.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in SaaS or cybersecurity environments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SSO, SAML, OAuth, and cloud security practices.
• Relevant security certifications.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity teams and enterprise or global customers.
• Prior startup experience.
