Director, Finance – Webull Pay (Crypto)

Location: New York Office, 44 Wall Street; in-person collaboration required

Salary: $185,000–$230,000 annually, plus a discretionary bonus and benefits.

hirify.global is a digital brokerage platform providing low-fee trading, market data, and analytical tools; hirify.global Pay is its MTL-regulated cryptocurrency subsidiary.

What you will do

• Lead accounting, finance, treasury, tax, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Oversee state Money Transmitter License financial reports, call reports, and GAAP-compliant statements.
• Manage customer fiat and digital asset custody controls, segregation, safeguarding, and daily reconciliations.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, financial close processes, and SOX readiness where applicable.
• Lead annual financial statement audits, regulatory audits, and remediation of internal audit findings.
• Manage banking relationships, payment infrastructure, liquidity, reserves, and capital adequacy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of accounting experience or equivalent senior finance leadership in a regulated crypto financial services organization.
• Experience with cryptocurrency, digital assets, fintech, payments, broker-dealers, banking, and regulated financial reporting.
• Experience preparing state MTL call reports and regulatory financial filings.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance organizations through growth and regulatory change.

Nice to have

• Experience with licensed cryptocurrency exchanges or digital asset custodians.
• Familiarity with state Money Transmitter License requirements.
• Experience with customer asset segregation and safeguarding.
• Knowledge of stablecoins, blockchain settlement, and digital asset accounting.
