Head of System Engineering

Location: Beit HaEmek, Northern District, Israel; work from office

Develops complex multidisciplinary products combining robotics, mechanics, electronics, software, communications, motion, computer vision, and machine learning.

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and develop Systems Engineering and Verification & Validation teams.
• Oversee full-cycle development of multidisciplinary systems.
• Establish and improve systems engineering and verification methodologies.
• Build and manage multi-project development plans and control system requirements with traceability to MRD.
• Define and validate complex cross-functional robotic systems and their architectures.
• Collaborate with research, engineering, operations, procurement, NPI, and client engineering teams.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in multidisciplinary systems development, systems engineering, and project management.
• At least 5 years of experience managing Systems Engineers and V&V Engineers.
• Experience with direct people management and leading development processes in a matrix environment.
• Required experience with multidisciplinary products spanning mechanics, electronics, software, communications, motion, computer vision, and machine learning.
• Required bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; mechanical engineering is also considered. A master's degree is an advantage.
• At least two years of experience in a startup or product company, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Lean development methodologies and processes.
• Master's degree in engineering.
