Senior Systems Engineer (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Lead system architecture and translate user, clinical, business, and regulatory needs into traceable system requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate cross-functional work across product, marketing, hardware, firmware, software, AI, and design quality assurance teams.
• Own system-level integration and performance evaluation throughout product development.
• Identify technical risks, conduct root-cause investigations, and perform technical trade-off analyses.
• Support feasibility studies, technology innovation, and evaluation of new system concepts.
• Contribute to sustaining existing products and developing next-generation technologies from concept through commercialization.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in hardware, software, biotechnology, or a related engineering discipline.
• 8 years of systems engineering experience in medical devices.
• Strong background in firmware and software.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Systems-thinking, analytical problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to manage technical complexity and uncertainty and influence cross-functional teams.
