Senior Systems Engineer (Medtech)

Location: Caesarea, Haifa, Israel

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and document innovative system solutions combining software and hardware components.
• Define user needs, business needs, use cases, system requirements, and system architecture.
• Analyze and select system-level concepts while ensuring alignment with requirements, environments, and the overall system vision.
• Plan and lead user evaluations in laboratory surgical environments and other formative evaluation events.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, product hazards, and failure modes.
• Troubleshoot component integration and support the introduction of designs into surgical procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Fluent technical English, both verbal and written.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering activities and providing technical expertise.
• Ability to work with system requirements, use cases, architecture, integration, and technical risk management.

Nice to have

• Medical device industry or surgical technique experience.
• Experience planning user evaluations, analyzing data, documenting results, and presenting design recommendations.
• Experience with software design, algorithm design, GUI design, and iterative software development.
• Familiarity with scripting languages, Polarion, Jira, Miro, or Figma.
