Manager, IT Systems (Enterprise IT)

What you will do

• Represent Japan IT and align local business requirements with global IT policies, standards, and initiatives.
• Define the Japan IT roadmap, manage priorities, and maintain governance across security, compliance, and risk.
• Manage external vendors, contracts, service quality, licenses, maintenance costs, and OPEX/CAPEX budgets.
• Lead Japan IT team members, outsourced vendors, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 service desk operations.
• Oversee infrastructure, network, server, application, and integration support, including EDI, warehouse systems, Oracle EBS, eCommerce, and Salesforce.
• Drive process automation, data processing, monitoring, notifications, and operational efficiency improvements using Python or similar tools.

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of enterprise IT systems and integrations, including EDI, eCommerce, warehouse systems, Salesforce, core business systems, and IT infrastructure.
• Managerial-level hands-on understanding of infrastructure, networks, and server operations, including troubleshooting.
• Ability to assess business impact, cost, risk, incident severity, and appropriate response actions.
• Experience with vendor management, budget management, service desk performance analysis, and operational improvement.
• Ability to translate business requirements into appropriate IT solutions and align local needs with global IT organizations.
• Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English are required to explain complex IT topics to non-technical stakeholders.
