Senior QA Automation Engineer (5+ Years in Automation Testing-Playwright/Selenium, API Testing, REST Assured)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks and reusable test assets.
• Create functional, integration, API, regression, and end-to-end automated test suites.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support reliable software releases.
• Validate APIs and services across distributed and cloud-based environments.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
• Improve test coverage, maintainability, execution efficiency, quality metrics, and automation standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions for enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience building and executing API tests with Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, quality engineering, Agile delivery, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#, plus experience with relational databases and automated data-integrity validation.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, regulatory technology, or enterprise software.
• Knowledge of JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or k6 for performance testing.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with BDD, security testing, vulnerability assessment, microservices, and distributed architectures.
