Senior QA Automation Engineer (5+ Years in Automation Testing-Playwright/Selenium, API Testing, REST Assured)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and reusable test assets.
• Create functional, integration, API, regression, and end-to-end automated test suites.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to embed quality practices early in development.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and validate releases through risk-based testing strategies.
• Perform API and service validation across distributed and cloud-based environments.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, resolve defects with development teams, and improve quality metrics, coverage, and execution efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of automation testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience building and executing API tests with Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, quality engineering, Agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation.
• Programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#, plus relational database testing and strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, regulatory technology, or enterprise software.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or k6.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with BDD, security testing, vulnerability assessment, and test automation for microservices and distributed architectures.
