ETCH Process Engineering Technician (Days) (Semiconductor)

Location: Onsite at the Malta, New York semiconductor manufacturing facility, USA. Flexible availability for alternating 12-hour day or night shifts is required.

Salary: $43,100–$70,600 per year.

What you will do

• Monitor, control, and test equipment and products for manufacturing readiness.
• Monitor workstation performance and troubleshoot equipment interruptions, process deviations, and factory system errors.
• Review Statistical Process Control charts, respond to out-of-control conditions, and troubleshoot defects affecting product quality.
• Document production events and provide clear end-of-shift pass-downs.
• Develop and update operating procedures, support training, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work independently and collaboratively while meeting Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required.
• English fluency in written and verbal communication is required.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom while wearing required semiconductor protective clothing.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods during 12-hour shifts and lift product carriers weighing up to 20 pounds over short distances.
• Willingness to work alternating 12-hour day or night shifts, including weekends, is required.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or production environments.
• Data analysis, computer information systems, computer science, technical, engineering, software, or Microsoft Suite experience.
• Relevant military or customer service experience.
