A&D Product Program Manager (FPGA)

Salary: $159,700–$231,000 USD per year for the Bay Area California market

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product program execution for FPGA and platform offerings serving Aerospace & Defense customers.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, product management, quality, supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and field applications.
• Manage integrated plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risk registers, change control, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate new product introductions, product revisions, and sustaining engineering across silicon, software, tools, and documentation.
• Align execution with customer roadmaps, market requirements, revenue goals, and strategic account commitments.
• Lead executive program reviews and communicate status, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex hardware and software programs as a Product Program Manager, Technical Program Manager, or equivalent.
• Experience delivering semiconductor, FPGA, ASIC, SoC, or embedded system products.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations and managing product lifecycles from concept through production and sustaining.
• Experience with Aerospace & Defense customers or regulated, high-reliability, long-lifecycle programs.
• Applicants must be eligible for any required U.S. export authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with FPGA-based platforms, design flows, or programmable logic ecosystems.
• Familiarity with DO-254, MIL-STD, AS9100, ITAR/EAR, or similar compliance standards.
• Experience with 10–20+ year product support models and government, prime contractor, or Tier-1 aerospace and defense customers.
• MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
• Experience managing globally distributed engineering and operations teams.
