Software Quality Engineering Manager

What you will do

• Lead and mentor QA engineers across multiple product lines and concurrent projects.
• Own QA strategy, test planning, risk-based coverage, regression testing, and release sign-off.
• Drive the transition from manual to automated testing and guide automation investment across teams with different technology stacks.
• Champion AI-assisted testing, test generation, and quality tooling as part of an AI-driven development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders on quality risks, release readiness, incidents, and defect triage.
• Track defect trends, test coverage, regression outcomes, risks, and blockers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software QA experience, including 2+ years in QA leadership or team management.
• Experience managing QA across multiple products or projects and leading a transition from manual to automated testing.
• Strong understanding of test automation principles, the test pyramid, risk-based testing, and regression planning for enterprise SaaS products.
• Working knowledge of or genuine interest in AI-assisted development and testing practices.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar test and work management tooling.

• Experience with heterogeneous or legacy technology stacks.
• Familiarity with risk management or compliance software.
