Senior Consultant Test Automation Engineer (QA Automation)

Location: Remote in Germany; office options in Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Görlitz, Hamburg, and Munich

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and service test cases within client tool ecosystems.
• Execute tests, analyse results, and improve test coverage and software quality.
• Evaluate testing tools and select suitable test automation solutions for client projects.
• Develop customised test automation concepts to optimise project delivery.
• Mentor and coordinate other testers while acting as a Lead Test Automation Engineer.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of software testing experience, ideally focused on automated testing.
• Advanced experience with TOSCA, Selenium, SoapUI, Ranorex, or similar automation and testing platforms.
• Programming experience with Java, C#, C++, Groovy Script, or equivalent technologies.
• Business-fluent German at C1 level is required.
• ISTQB certification is required.
• Willingness to travel regularly for business trips.
