Senior QA Automation Engineer (Mobile)

Location: Fully remote; candidates must be located in Poland, Kazakhstan, or the EU. CET working time zone.

What you will do

• Design and maintain test cases, test suites, and automated testing frameworks for product features.
• Develop and maintain automated API and mobile UI tests across iOS and Android, including shift-left testing.
• Integrate QA frameworks and tools into CI/CD pipelines and maintain reliable testing infrastructure.
• Participate in discovery, refinement, decomposition, sprint planning, demos, and other agile practices.
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with backend and mobile developers to prevent regressions.
• Track quality metrics, automate routine QA tasks, and improve testing workflows and testability.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with at least 3 years in functional testing and QA automation.
• At least 1 year of recent, hands-on mobile application testing and automation experience.
• Russian language proficiency required; intermediate English proficiency required.
• API testing with Postman or similar tools, database CRUD operations, basic bash or zsh, and web frontend testing.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or strong programming skills in Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, test management, client-server architecture, network protocols, and reading frontend and backend code to investigate defects.

Nice to have

• Contract testing or mobile visual regression testing.
• Mobile testing across both iOS and Android, including emulators, traffic sniffing, and OS-specific testing.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based device farms.
