Field Technician (Robotics)

Location: On-site at a Rivian manufacturing facility in Normal, IL, United States

What you will do

• Deploy, power, maintain, and recover camera and docking-station hardware across an assigned station cluster.
• Ensure cameras are recording and batteries and drives are charged, available, and ready for each shift.
• Monitor station health through a centralized dashboard and promptly escalate issues to the Team Lead.
• Support Rivian operators with camera fitting, docking procedures, and remote trigger usage.
• Log hardware issues with station IDs, timestamps, and clear descriptions.

Requirements

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership of an assigned area.
• Comfortable working with consumer electronics, including phones, cameras, and charging systems.
• Able to walk across an active factory floor throughout a full shift.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to escalate issues quickly and document them accurately.
• No prior technical experience is required; full training is provided.
