Forward Deployment Robotics Engineer (Robotics)

Location: New York, United States; on-site. Local travel to deployment sites may be required.

Salary: $120K–$180K per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Support robot deployments, pilots, and tests at customer sites.
• Set up, calibrate, monitor, and troubleshoot robots, hardware, software, and networking.
• Lead on-site data capture and monitor sensors, cameras, telemetry, and logs to maintain data quality.
• Support teleoperation workflows and coordinate with remote teleoperation operators and engineering teams.
• Act as the local technical owner and point of contact in New York during deployments.
• Document field issues, fixes, and learnings, and improve deployment and data-capture processes.

Requirements

• Experience as a field technician, field engineer, or on-site support specialist at a robotics company.
• Hands-on experience supporting real robot deployments and data-capture operations.
• Familiarity with teleoperation systems or remote robot operation.
• Comfort working with Linux-based systems, cameras, sensors, and networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot calmly in real time and communicate clearly with field and remote engineering teams.
• Ability to work on-site in New York and travel locally to deployment sites as needed.
