Controlling & Accounting Lead (AI)

Location: Must be based in or near Amsterdam and work in the office for the majority of the time; regular hub attendance is expected.

What you will do

• Own and accelerate the month-end close across a multi-entity global group using the Campfire AI-native ERP.
• Design and implement an AI-native internal control framework using Campfire, Ramp, and embedded process controls.
• Optimize end-to-end finance processes across P2P, R2R, O2C, and related core cycles.
• Deliver management reporting and decision-ready financial insights.
• Lead technical accounting topics including consolidation, revenue recognition, and share-based compensation.
• Support new entity launches, build the global finance infrastructure, and lead a team of 2–3 people.

Requirements

• Experience building a finance function from the ground up in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
• Strong operational accounting skills combined with in-depth technical accounting knowledge.
• Ability to build from first principles and manage shifting priorities with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to contextualize financial data and turn reporting into relevant follow-up actions.
• Tech-savvy approach with a clear strategy for applying AI in finance.
• Based in or near Amsterdam and willing to work from the office for most of the time.
