Financial Controller – Group Reporting & Compliance

What you will do

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in a multicurrency environment.
• Oversee internal and external reporting, including lender reporting packages and coordination with FP&A.
• Support statutory and tax filing requirements across international entities.
• Manage external audits, audited financial statements, and audit documentation.
• Lead the internal control framework and global close governance.
• Develop accounting policies, standardize and automate operations, and optimize Netsuite and other financial systems.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience in a global, private-equity-backed company.
• Experience with multicurrency consolidation, global close programs, and internal control improvements.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with modern financial systems; Netsuite experience is advantageous.
• Qualified accountant experience with a Big 4 or national audit firm is preferred.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of sales tax, income tax, and transfer pricing.
• Experience with Netsuite.
• Big 4 or national audit firm background.
