Financial Accountant - General Ledger (m/f/d)

Location: Sevenum, Netherlands; onsite role. Applicants must be EU citizens or hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Prepare accurate journal entries and maintain financial records across general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including balance sheet account reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Own the fixed assets register, including updates, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Analyze general ledger accounts to validate journal entries and support accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain timely reporting in line with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage discount invoices and support the Senior General Ledger Accountant with daily finance operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in a finance-related role within an international company.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
• Strong ability to work with multiple systems and tools.
• Excellent English and/or German language skills.
• EU citizenship or a valid work permit for the Netherlands is required.
