Senior Command and Control Software Engineer (C++)

What you will do

• Develop modern C++ edge software and real-time pipelines for NVIDIA Jetson ARM/Linux devices supporting command-and-control systems.
• Build low-latency, high-throughput data flows using zero-copy IPC and publish/subscribe messaging.
• Integrate software with radios and RF front-ends, including IQ data, spectral processing, detection, and direction finding.
• Design wire-level data formats, packet ABIs, Protobuf contracts, event-driven alerting, telemetry, and on-device storage.
• Integrate and optimize TensorRT or ONNX ML inference in real-time processing paths where it provides operational value.
• Own CMake, Conan, Docker, deployment workflows, hardware-in-the-loop bring-up, and technical direction for the embedded codebase.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial work in edge, embedded, or systems-level environments.
• Strong modern C++17/20 on Linux and Python for tooling and automation.
• Experience building real-time or low-latency systems with deterministic pipelines, queuing, concurrency, and throughput constraints.
• Experience owning wire-level data formats, custom protocols, or packet and interface contracts.
• Experience with CMake, Conan or a comparable package manager, and Docker-based development or deployment workflows.
• Ability to take embedded software from hardware bring-up through deployment and set technical direction on a small team.

Nice to have

• RF/DSP fundamentals, including IQ data, spectral processing, detection, or direction finding.
• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson or comparable ARM/SoC edge platforms and zero-copy or shared-memory messaging.
• Experience deploying edge ML inference with TensorRT or ONNX, integrating sensors, or working with IMU and multi-rate inputs.
• Background in defense, electronic warfare, SIGINT, or other mission-critical real-time systems.
