Senior or Principal Frontend Software Engineer (Drone Technology)

Location: Seattle, WA, USA; hybrid

Salary: $142.5K–$250K per year

What you will do

• Develop and improve real-time drone tele-operations features for public safety teams.
• Build and enhance cloud-based products for Drone as a First Responder programs.
• Interact regularly with end customers to identify UX/UI improvements.
• Prototype new frontend experiences quickly to evaluate product-market fit.
• Take prototypes into production and help migrate legacy technology to a modern stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of frontend or fullstack development experience.
• Experience developing React-based asynchronous frontend code.
• Experience collaborating with backend developers on clean frontend-backend interactions.
• Experience with data visualization packages, real-time inbound data, and single-page applications.
• Experience with WebSockets and UDP.
