Applications Engineer (Embedded Hardware)

What you will do

• Act as the lead technical contact for industrial customers from initial product concept through mass production.
• Help customers integrate hirify.global Compute Modules and silicon into custom hardware, software environments, and product form factors.
• Diagnose hardware failures and software integration issues using a hands-on engineering approach.
• Create application notes, white papers, and technical guides for the industrial community.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Industry experience in Applications, Field Applications, Systems Engineering, or another multidisciplinary engineering role.
• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Competence in schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium, KiCad, or similar tools.
• Understanding of design rules, board bring-up, software environments, and silicon integration.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and SMT soldering or prototype rework.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, interpersonal, and customer-facing skills.
