Director, Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR)

What you will do

• Design, plan, and execute health-outcomes analyses using biometric, medical and pharmacy claims, and clinical data.
• Conduct literature reviews, perform analyses, and prepare peer-reviewed manuscripts and clinical white papers from concept through submission.
• Apply methods including mixed-effects modeling, survival analysis, difference-in-differences, budget impact analysis, and clustering to complex longitudinal data.
• Use modern AI tools, including LLM-based assistants, to accelerate literature review, analysis, coding, and manuscript development.
• Generate economic and clinical evidence supporting enterprise sales, client retention, payer strategy, and value-based care contracting.
• Coordinate evidence projects across product, marketing, engineering, and business development while monitoring data quality and measurement fidelity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in clinical analytics, HEOR, health economics, digital health, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience analyzing healthcare claims data and applying rigorous statistical methods.
• High proficiency in Python or R and fluency in SQL.
• Experience with time-series and nested or longitudinal data, data sourcing, and end-to-end analytical delivery.
• Peer-reviewed publications or research projects, preferably in digital health, telemedicine, or value-based care.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and data-privacy requirements related to PHI and digital health.

Nice to have

• Master's or PhD in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, psychology, health economics, or a related field.
• Applied data science or machine learning experience.
• Experience with value-based contracting or payer-facing evidence generation.
• Familiarity with Jupyter, Google Colab, Git, Jira, Confluence, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Startup or growth-stage experience in a fast-moving technology environment.
