Director, Real World Evidence (RWE/Pharma): Leading and executing the global RWE strategy for the HIDO portfolio to meet research and commercial objectives with an accent on integrated evidence generation plans and strategic data partnerships. Location: Hybrid role based in Boston, MA office. Must be based in or be able to relocate to the USA.

Salary: $181,000 – $271,000

What you will do

• Lead the global RWE strategy for the HIDO portfolio across development, regulatory, and commercialization phases.
• Build and scale RWE capabilities, establishing best practices and standards across global regions.
• Identify and execute external RWD partnerships and data acquisition strategies with academic institutions and vendors.
• Provide scientific leadership in observational research, epidemiology, and the adoption of AI/ML analytics.
• Collaborate as the RWE subject matter expert with Medical, Clinical Development, Market Access, and Regulatory teams.
• Provide executive oversight for RWE studies, registries, and non-interventional programs.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD, DrPH, MD, PharmD, MSc) in epidemiology, public health, health economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in RWE, HEOR, or observational research within pharma or biotech.
• Demonstrated success in leading RWE strategy at an asset or portfolio level.
• Deep expertise in real-world data sources (claims, EHR, registries) and epidemiological methodologies.
• Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience with advanced analytics and AI/ML in RWE generation.

Nice to have

• Experience in rare diseases, specifically in hematology, immunology, dermatology, or ophthalmology.
