Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote; company bases in San Francisco and Mexico City

hirify.global is building an AI-powered healthcare platform that improves doctor-patient communication and automates clinical workflows through WhatsApp.

What you will do

• Own technically complex and business-critical projects from idea through launch and scaling.
• Build and scale backend systems for AI-powered clinical workflows and doctor-patient communication.
• Collaborate with design, operations, data science, and medical professionals to deliver product experiences.
• Work with the CTO to evolve engineering strategy and improve development practices.
• Shape technical direction and product decisions as a core member of a small, high-performing team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience and a track record of building and scaling complex systems.
• Deep backend development expertise with Python.
• Experience managing production-scale infrastructure in AWS.
• Ability to work across the stack and own projects end-to-end; clients are built in Flutter.
• Strong understanding of modern AI technologies and practical application of AI/ML.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Health tech experience.
• Experience building messaging or collaboration tools.
• Spanish fluency.
• Startup experience.
