Project Manager (Power Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, New York City, and remote; hybrid work format

hirify.global is building a large-scale industrial electric grid in the United States using long-distance HVDC transmission and software-defined Macrogrids.

What you will do

• Support transmission development projects from groundbreaking through commissioning, keeping delivery on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate transmission hardware delivery and support installation, testing, and commissioning across project sites.
• Identify and resolve project issues before they create major schedule delays.
• Coordinate on-site testing and commissioning with contractors, utilities, and internal teams.
• Lead specific project sites on the ground and manage delivery across development workstreams.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience supporting energy, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
• Experience working with contractors, EPCs, utilities, or industrial project teams.
• Experience coordinating construction schedules, contractors, and project execution across multiple workstreams.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across field teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with utility coordination, permitting, construction timelines, or infrastructure project execution.

Nice to have

• Experience in energy, power, utilities, or heavy industrial construction.
• Experience working with EPCs and general contractors, particularly throughout California, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas.
• Familiarity with high-voltage or long-distance transmission infrastructure deployment.
