Technical Program Manager (FPGA)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite Shift 1

Salary: $113,700–$164,700 USD per year for the Bay Area, California

What you will do

• Lead complex technical programs for FPGA device development from definition through production rollout.
• Coordinate silicon design, IP, software, firmware, validation, system enablement, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Build and maintain program plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and execution reporting.
• Align geographically distributed engineering teams across North America and Asia, establishing ownership and accountability.
• Identify risks, critical-path issues, and resource constraints, then develop mitigation plans.
• Support silicon bring-up, validation, sampling, production readiness, executive reporting, and issue escalation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or Engineering Program Leadership.
• 3+ years of technical experience with transceivers, ARM-based embedded systems, configuration and security, PCIe, Ethernet, or ASIC design and verification.
• 2+ years managing complex cross-functional hardware and software development programs.
• 5+ years leading programs integrating silicon, hardware, software, firmware, IP, and validation teams.
• Applicants must be eligible for any required U.S. export authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with FPGA, ASIC, or silicon-based product development programs.
• Hands-on experience in silicon design, validation, or software and firmware engineering.
• Experience with silicon bring-up, manufacturing readiness, and Agile, hybrid Agile/Waterfall, or scaled execution frameworks.
• Experience presenting program status and execution metrics to senior leadership.
