Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain hirify.global web applications.
• Build high-performance, responsive, and scalable backend services.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and deployment.
• Work in small collaborative teams and ship product changes quickly.
• Consult on feature requests, customer feedback, and future product development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Python or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Strong experience with Flask, FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with relational database schema design, query optimization, and ORMs or Python database integrations.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating custom code with third-party APIs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, software testing, TDD, unit testing, and Docker.
• Experience with AWS, Git, Jira, Confluence, and application monitoring tools such as Datadog or New Relic.
