What you will do

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan in a fully outpatient setting.
• See approximately 16–20 patients per day and manage an assigned patient panel.
• Deliver preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
• Document care and manage patient records using an EMR.
• Participate in care coordination, quality improvement, team-based care, and shared after-hours call coverage.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Rhode Island.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain it, plus Rhode Island Controlled Substances Registration or eligibility to obtain it.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills in a technology-enabled care environment.

Nice to have

• Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives.
• Experience performing in-office procedures within the applicable scope of practice.
