Clinical Pharmacist - Specialty (Healthcare)

Location: Remote; state of residence required. Core operating hours are weekdays between 8 am Eastern Time and 8 pm Pacific Time, with occasional evening or weekend shifts possible. Occasional travel may be required.

Salary: $120,000–$125,000 base salary. Compensation depends on geographic location, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Guide specialty medication members through disease-state and medication management as a dedicated clinical pharmacist.
• Engage members by phone, email, and chat to provide personalized pharmacy support.
• Support enrollment in copay and patient assistance programs.
• Onboard specialty members, including drug selection, clinical assessments, dispensing pharmacy selection, and ongoing care support.
• Conduct prospective and retrospective drug utilization reviews, comprehensive medication reviews, and regimen recommendations.
• Contribute to drug monographs, therapeutic reviews, clinical policy development, prior authorization reviews, and third-party pharmacy strategy administration.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree required; PharmD preferred.
• Three years of direct patient care experience in PBM clinical operations, a health plan pharmacy department, or specialty pharmacy.
• Must reside in a state and meet applicable state licensure requirements.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, listening, problem-solving, prioritization, and change-management skills.
• Ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders without direct reporting-line authority.
• Availability for weekday operating hours spanning 8 am Eastern Time to 8 pm Pacific Time; on-call duty is approximately once every two months.
