AI & Data Science Director

What you will do

• Define and evolve the AI strategy across classical machine learning, experimentation, evaluation, and generative AI applications.
• Provide senior technical leadership and promote rigorous scientific thinking, experimentation, and sound engineering judgment.
• Identify practical applications for LLMs, agents, and generative AI tooling across products and internal workflows.
• Build the ecosystem, tooling patterns, and ways of working that enable teams to develop and operate AI solutions effectively.
• Coach senior individual contributors and emerging leaders while shaping the long-term organizational structure.
• Translate AI priorities across product, engineering, platform, and executive stakeholders, and support selective hiring and organizational stabilization.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of classical machine learning, experimentation, modeling, and scientific reasoning.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic patterns, evaluation approaches, and modern generative AI tooling.
• Proven experience leading senior technical teams, shaping organizations, and partnering with executive leadership.
• Ability to build systems, processes, and technical direction that enable teams with mixed seniority to execute effectively.
• Strong product and business judgment, people leadership, adaptability, and communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal English is required.
