People Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York or San Francisco, United States

Salary: $180,000–$360,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Build and lead the People function across HR business partnering, talent management, compensation, and employee experience.
• Set up core HRIS and people systems for a newly established organization.
• Design organizational structures, leveling frameworks, and career progression models.
• Develop performance management, feedback, and leadership development programs.
• Partner with executives on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, organizational design, and change management.
• Design scalable compensation, benefits, policies, compliance frameworks, and culture-building programs.

Requirements

• 12–15+ years of experience in HR or People leadership roles.
• Experience building or scaling People functions in high-growth organizations.
• Strong experience supporting technical and professional services teams.
• Experience advising senior executives and shaping organizational culture.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments while balancing strategic leadership with operational execution.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in New York or San Francisco.
