Head of Operations

What you will do

• Own cross-functional operational escalations from triage and assignment through resolution, root-cause confirmation, and quality assurance.
• Organize dispersed operational functions into teams with clear charters, hand-offs, playbooks, runbooks, tooling, and accountability.
• Build a centralized B2B escalation function for restaurant partners with defined owners and SLAs.
• Lead strategic, cross-functional operational initiatives and product operations between product, engineering, and the field.
• Establish operational metrics and reporting covering resolution time, SLA attainment, escalation volume, and recurrence.
• Expand responsibility into delivery operations and customer support as the operating model matures.

Requirements

• 6+ years of operations leadership in a high-growth operational company, marketplace, logistics, food-tech, fintech, or B2B SaaS business.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, with evidence of building operational functions, systems, playbooks, and measurable improvements.
• Experience owning cross-functional operations across areas such as legal, finance, support, product operations, and delivery.
• Strong systems and process thinking, including SLA definition, metrics, accountability models, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on SQL knowledge and demonstrated experience building bots, workflows, or AI-powered operational processes.
• Based in NYC or Miami.
