Staff Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work with an office in San Francisco, California

Base salary: $220,000–$235,000 per year, plus equity and potential performance bonuses.

hirify.global builds photography tools and a connected workflow for creating, editing, delivering, and managing photography businesses, including AI-enabled products.

What you will do

• Own Workspace end-to-end, from strategy and problem framing through activation, upgrades, and paid product delivery.
• Shape the AI chat experience, including agent behavior, tone, interaction patterns, and transitions into product UI.
• Partner with product management, design, engineering, and data to define product direction and align on what gets built.
• Present design direction to senior leadership and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Use Cursor, Claude, v0, and Figma to prototype quickly, refine visual craft, and maintain product quality.
• Contribute to the design system and mentor designers on interaction principles, systems thinking, and AI-assisted workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience, including 0-to-1 work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Exceptional interaction and visual design skills with a high standard of craft.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic product thinking and polished shipped work across mobile and web.
• Experience designing business tools, enterprise workflows, or productivity products such as project management tools, dashboards, or CRM systems.
• Strong systems thinking, experience with scalable patterns, and experience contributing to a design system.
• Track record of influencing product roadmaps and connecting design decisions to business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI-native design and prototyping tools such as Cursor, Claude, and v0, or strong enthusiasm for adopting them.
