Product Designer (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco or New York, United States

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Design new product surfaces and interaction models for 0-to-1 problems without established patterns.
• Turn simulation outputs, confidence scores, and population-level behavior into clear interfaces for enterprise decision-makers.
• Own information architecture, interaction models, edge cases, feature composition, typography, motion, and visual detail.
• Make small-to-medium frontend changes with AI tooling and engineering support.
• Help evolve the design system from a single product to a multi-product platform.

Requirements

• Experience designing products or features from 0 to 1.
• Strong visual design and systems design skills.
• Experience designing enterprise products for expert users, high-stakes workflows, and complex data.
• Ability to explain design decisions, take a clear position, and maintain a high quality bar while moving quickly.

Nice to have

• Founding or early-stage startup experience.
• Experience designing AI-native or agentic products.
• Experience with data-dense interfaces such as analytics or research tools.
• Interest in behavioral research, social science, or models of human behavior.
