Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Virtual - Remote (CA license) (Women's Health)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; an active California license and DEA registration are required. The role provides telehealth care and requires coordination of in-person follow-up when clinically indicated.

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 base per year, depending on experience, qualifications, location, role level, business needs, and market conditions.

What you will do

• Evaluate, counsel, treat, and manage patients through virtual gynecology and reproductive health care.
• Address contraception, menopause, PCOS, fibroids, abnormal bleeding, endometriosis, fertility, pregnancy options, sexual health, STI concerns, and other gynecologic conditions.
• Recognize related medical, behavioral health, and preventive needs and coordinate care with primary care, mental health, nursing, and in-person clinical teams.
• Determine when concerns can be safely managed through telehealth and when examination, laboratory testing, imaging, specimen collection, procedures, or specialty referral are needed.
• Deliver inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Help develop virtual care pathways, clinical protocols, decision-support tools, and practice standards using data and technology.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current national board certification, such as ANCC, AANP, NCC, or NCCPA.
• Active California license and DEA registration required.
• At least two years of independent outpatient clinical experience after completing training.
• Independent experience managing a broad range of gynecologic, reproductive health, and sexual health concerns.
• Ability to provide high-quality telehealth care and identify when in-person evaluation or a higher level of care is required.
• Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, patient-centered care and data-driven clinical operations.

Nice to have

• Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner certification or another advanced women’s health-focused background.
• Experience with menopause, perimenopause, contraception, reproductive health, abnormal bleeding, PCOS, fertility evaluation, or sexual medicine.
• Prior telehealth experience.
• Experience in an integrated or multidisciplinary care model.
