Focus on using AI-enabled workflows, mapping specialized talent, solving difficult hiring problems, and improving recruiting operations in a fast-growth environment.
Location: On-site in Ottawa or Toronto, Canada

What you will do
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technical, operational, business, and leadership roles.
- Recruit for complex positions across hardware, aerospace, embedded systems, robotics, manufacturing, AI, autonomy, and software.
- Build proactive talent pipelines through research, networking, technical communities, direct outreach, and unconventional sourcing.
- Use AI tools, automation, and modern workflows to improve recruiting speed and quality.
- Partner with hiring managers to calibrate talent, assess candidates, and support strong hiring decisions.
- Improve recruiting operations, processes, and workflows as the company scales.
Requirements
- 5+ years of recruiting experience in technical, engineering, operations, or commercial hiring.
- Strong understanding of technical hiring across hardware, aerospace, robotics, embedded systems, manufacturing, AI, or engineering-heavy environments.
- Proven ability to proactively source and engage high-quality talent.
- Strong research, sourcing, talent mapping, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate with urgency, ownership, and follow-through in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Experience using AI tools and modern recruiting workflows.

- Creative, resourceful, and unconventional approach to recruiting.
- Mission-driven interest in building meaningful technology.
- Defence background is not required.
