Sr. Principal Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: United States; telecommuting permitted in the U.S. pursuant to company policy. The role is associated with Cincinnati, Ohio.

Salary: $163,900–$245,900 per year. The targeted base salary is $175,400–$252,400 per year.

What you will do

• Rearchitect the Banking as a Service platform using cloud-native techniques and build next-generation banking and payments capabilities.
• Design highly scalable distributed solutions for large volumes of data.
• Lead complex integration projects by defining API contracts, identifying gaps, and developing optimal solutions.
• Drive continuous integration, continuous delivery, cloud migration, test-driven development, and blue-green deployment practices.
• Document and demonstrate solutions with flowcharts, sequence diagrams, and business process flow diagrams.
• Own components or capabilities during delivery, collaborate with product teams, address technical debt, and coach team members through code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least six years of experience as a Sr. Principal Engineer, Principal Engineer, Technical Lead, Software Engineer, or in a related occupation.
• Experience writing code for scalable and reliable systems and applying software design patterns and anti-patterns.
• Experience developing secure, standards-compliant applications across Microsoft and open-source technologies, including C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, cloud-native Azure applications, microservices, REST, SOAP, and XML/JSON representations.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub, TeamCity, pipelines, blue-green deployments, Scrum, and Extreme Programming.
