Sr. Network Development Engineer - IT Cloud & Infrastructure (Remote) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, United States only

Salary: $125,000–$180,000 per year, plus bonus and equity eligibility

Cybersecurity company building an AI-native security platform that processes large-scale distributed event data and protects organizations across industries.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise architecture design and reviews across infrastructure, platform engineering, security, and integration initiatives.
• Build and operate architecture review processes, governance frameworks, and automated controls.
• Define reusable infrastructure-as-code blueprints, including Terraform modules, networking standards, and multi-account AWS patterns.
• Design on-premises and multi-region cloud networking architectures using Transit Gateway, VPCs, centralized inspection, and hybrid connectivity.
• Lead cloud migration and data center exit programs, including cutover strategies and infrastructure delivery.
• Enable engineering teams to adopt cloud-native, infrastructure-as-code-driven operating models.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering, with progression into architecture and governance leadership.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, Transit Gateway, VPCs, multi-account architectures, IAM, Network Firewall, Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience operating architecture review boards, governance frameworks, or enterprise infrastructure standards programs.
• Strong background in cloud networking, including multi-region connectivity, segmentation, inspection architectures, and hybrid integration.
• Experience with data center exit or cloud migration programs and compliance-aligned infrastructure-as-code delivery.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, plus experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

Nice to have

• Exposure to PCI, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks.
• Experience with ArgoCD, Helm, or Octopus Deploy for Kubernetes workload delivery.
• Cisco or AWS certifications.
• Experience governing enterprise AI/LLM platform adoption.
• Background in MSP or multi-tenant IT environments.
