Forward Deployed Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in the Greater Boston area: 3 days per week on-site with the customer and 2 days per week at hirify.global's headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Minimal travel is required.

Salary: $100,000–$185,000 annually.

What you will do

• Embed with customer engineering teams during critical implementations and support sprint planning, architecture reviews, and technical decisions.
• Deploy hirify.global in complex enterprise environments and build custom solutions, integrations, and extensions.
• Write production-quality code connecting hirify.global with existing enterprise systems.
• Develop reusable scripts, tools, technical demos, documentation, and best practices to accelerate customer adoption.
• Debug issues spanning customer infrastructure and the hirify.global platform.
• Translate executive goals into engineering roadmaps, identify expansion opportunities, and provide field insights to the product team.

Requirements

• 4–10 years of software engineering experience with a record of shipping production code.
• Fluency in multiple programming languages, including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or C#.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, microservices, cloud architecture, and modern software development practices.
• Experience with enterprise development workflows, Agile/Scrum, Jira, and enterprise software development lifecycles.
• Ability to navigate complex technical environments and explain technical concepts to stakeholders from interns to CTOs.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Greater Boston area.

• Experience at high-growth startups or in customer-facing engineering roles.
• Background in AI/ML, developer tools, enterprise modernization, legacy system modernization, or large-scale migrations.
