Vendor Success Associate (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid/remote, predominantly remote, with proximity to the Portsmouth, New Hampshire office required for two collaboration days per month

What you will do

• Respond to customer enquiries and explain the value and benefits of Paymode-X services.
• Drive customer engagement, feature adoption, and long-term participation in the Paymode-X network.
• Manage vendor enquiries and escalations through resolution while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Identify retention risks and collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions that protect revenue.
• Partner with Account Managers, Member Services, Reporting, and Vendor Success Operations teams.
• Gather, analyse, and present customer data and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Strong customer service, relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive issues to resolution.
• Positive, proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Understanding of the payments ecosystem, financial technology landscape, and industry trends.
• Experience with CRM platforms and customer success management tools.
• Experience reporting on customer success, engagement, or retention activities.
