Global Supply Manager (Automotive Lighting)

What you will do

• Support engineering in identifying suppliers and issue RFQs across multiple commodities.
• Review, analyze, and clarify supplier quote packages.
• Lead strategic sourcing approvals and manage purchase order approval and issuance.
• Negotiate commercial cost reductions and cost changes resulting from product design changes.
• Coordinate with suppliers, engineering, material planning, and SQA to release parts into production and improve supplier quality.
• Develop sourcing strategies, respond to supply shortages, and drive lean and benchmarking initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Background in automotive, electronics, or interior and exterior lighting suppliers.
• Knowledge of automotive lighting or electronics.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or supply chain management; an MBA is beneficial.
