Telehealth Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Remote) - Delaware License

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; active Delaware license required

Compensation: $110,000–$125,000 USD per year, plus benefits; based on experience prescribing MOUD

What you will do

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based telehealth care for patients receiving medication for opioid use disorder and selected mental health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust them when patients are not improving as expected.
• Conduct behavioral health and psychiatric evaluations using motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, and other brief interventions.
• Monitor symptoms, side effects, treatment adherence, response to therapy, and potential complications; prescribe or queue appropriate medications.
• Educate patients about opioid use disorder and medication for opioid use disorder.
• Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in the EHR while collaborating with clinicians, triage nurses, and care coordinators.

Requirements

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Active DEA license for Schedule 3N, 4, and 5 medications, or willingness to obtain one after receiving an offer.
• Fully licensed to practice in Delaware.
• Experience caring for people with opioid use disorder, or willingness to learn the clinical skills required to provide MOUD through telehealth; prior MOUD experience is not required.
• Working knowledge of differential diagnosis for common substance use disorders, psychopharmacology for opioid use disorder, and evidence-based psychosocial treatments or counseling techniques.
• Comfort working remotely across multiple technology platforms and collaborating effectively in a team-based care model.

• Additional active licenses in New Jersey, New York, Virginia, or Maryland.
