Prescribing Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (Virtual - Remote) - PA - 1099 Contractor (Mental Health)

What you will do

• Provide evidence-based psychiatric medication management through video intake and follow-up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric evaluations, and longitudinal medication treatment.
• Create patient-centered treatment plans and document treatment recommendations.
• Message patients and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications according to clinical best practices.
• Provide care for children, teens, and young adults with varied diagnoses, complexity, and severity levels.
• Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services when appropriate.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited CCNE PMHNP program, or from an accredited ARC-PA program with PANCE certification.
• Hold an unrestricted state license in Pennsylvania.
• Have at least two years of professional practice experience.
• Be a full-time resident of the United States.
• Have office space suitable for seeing clients.
• Provide care across a full range of psychiatric diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels.

Nice to have

• Active DEA license.
• Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, postgraduate psychiatry fellowship, academic psychiatry certificate, or Doctor of Medical Science with a psychiatry concentration.
• Additional certification or clinical experience with minors.
• Ability to offer in-person care.
