Community Engagement Lead (Data Centers)

What you will do

• Design and oversee the national community engagement strategy for entering, developing, and integrating within host communities.
• Lead and mentor regional Community Engagement Liaisons, providing strategic direction, standards, and resources.
• Monitor community sentiment across markets and turn regional insights into actionable corporate and site-level strategies.
• Partner with development, energy, government affairs, communications, operations, sales, and finance teams to incorporate community feedback into project and investment decisions.
• Standardize and scale the community engagement playbook, digital workflows, and engagement data systems.
• Lead community investment, outreach, public concern response, NGO, industry, customer, and investor engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in public affairs, community relations, or government affairs.
• At least 5 years of leadership or people-management experience.
• Experience in data centers, energy, or large-scale infrastructure is required.
• Experience navigating political environments and building consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
• Ability to synthesize regional data into a cohesive national strategy supporting the development pipeline.
• Experience building scalable CRM or sentiment-tracking workflows and guiding teams through sensitive public discussions.
