Senior Manager, Community (Data Centre)

What you will do

• Develop and execute community engagement strategies, including stakeholder mapping, research, and sentiment analysis.
• Build relationships with employees, community organisations, non-profits, local governments, industry peers, neighbours, utilities, customers, and suppliers.
• Support major infrastructure project development through community outreach, consultation, communications, meetings, and site tours.
• Communicate community impact strategies, achievements, and initiatives across internal and external channels.
• Establish and maintain community feedback mechanisms throughout project development, construction, and operations.
• Support market expansion, social impact initiatives, site visits, and other project milestones in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, business, environmental studies, real estate, engineering, or public policy.
• At least 10 years of experience in project development, project management, community engagement, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, or a related field.
• Experience supporting major infrastructure projects, including approvals, multi-stakeholder dynamics, and direct community engagement in Tokyo and/or Osaka.
• Experience preparing project education materials in Word and PowerPoint and presenting them at public events, stakeholder meetings, and site visits.
• Experience building alignment with urban and regional communities across Japan.
• Fluency in both Japanese and English, written and spoken, is required.
