Head of People

Location: Full-time, in-person position in the Austin, TX office

What you will do

• Lead Human Resources, Recruiting, and Workplace Experience across the full employee lifecycle.
• Build and execute a people strategy aligned with company growth goals and values.
• Develop programs for employee engagement, performance, recognition, professional development, and retention.
• Oversee recruiting operations and hiring across all departments.
• Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and performance management.
• Manage compensation, benefits, and employment compliance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related field.
• Experience scaling people programs in a fast-growing technology company or startup.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational design.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across all organizational levels.
• Strategic approach combined with willingness to handle operational details.
