Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Vancouver, Canada; hybrid workplace. The role also allows working anywhere in the world for up to 60 calendar days per year.

Compensation: $150,000–$170,000 annually, plus employee stock options.

What you will do

• Build enterprise-level, customer-focused products on hirify.global’s AI intelligence platform.
• Define the technical vision and roadmap for product offerings, web applications, and product platforms.
• Design and implement critical functionality across user interfaces, databases, backends, and APIs.
• Drive the technical health, architecture, security, flexibility, and operational excellence of the engineering team.
• Mentor and coach developers through best practices, knowledge sharing, presentations, and pair programming.
• Support hiring, onboarding, employer branding, and technical growth across the engineering organization.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of professional development experience.
• Deep understanding of software development best practices and experience deploying software at scale.
• Experience designing and implementing complex software architecture.
• Professional experience with React, TypeScript, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with frontend and backend observability and product metrics.
• Strong ownership, communication, adaptability, problem-solving ability, and willingness to work deeply on complex technical challenges.
