What you will do

• Ensure data processing engine result accuracy, performance fidelity, and robust execution at scale.
• Design test strategies for complex data processing systems.
• Perform functional, performance, integration, and system-level testing.
• Build and maintain automated testing using programming, scripting, and automation tools.
• Debug failures, identify root causes, and narrow down problem areas.
• Validate data processing platforms and workloads across public cloud environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in data processing quality or performance testing for database, data warehouse, or query engine applications.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and similar data processing languages.
• Experience with automation tools and an automation-first testing approach.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD implementations.

Nice to have

• Experience testing Apache Spark, Gluten, Velox, or DataFusion platforms.
