Software Engineer in Test (SDET)

What you will do

• Build an end-to-end test automation framework for consumer web platforms and the B2B Teams product.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and explore LLM-driven test generation and agent-based exploratory testing.
• Embed quality into the software development lifecycle by reviewing requirements, defining acceptance criteria, and identifying testability gaps.
• Promote quality ownership across engineering teams and coach engineers on writing testable code.
• Define and track test coverage, defect escape rate, regression pass rate, and release-readiness metrics.
• Lead release quality sign-off and manually cover critical user flows during the first 3–6 months while automation is established.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software testing experience with a strong focus on automation.
• Proficiency with Playwright for web end-to-end testing.
• Ability to write test code in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience with API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile product or engineering teams.
• Curiosity about or early experience applying AI and LLM tools to testing.
• Fast ramp-up, self-direction, curiosity, and strong product focus.

Nice to have

• Experience with subscription billing, D2C platforms, or enterprise SaaS.
